Postie (postie.ieverse.ai) is an invite-only tool for planning posts and publishing them to LinkedIn, Instagram and Threads. This page says what it keeps and why.

What Postie keeps

• Your Postie login: your name, email and a salted hash of your password (never the password itself). A cookie keeps you logged in for 30 days.
• Connected LinkedIn, Instagram and Threads accounts: the login token the platform gives Postie, when it expires, and the account's ID, name or username, profile picture link and the permissions you granted. Instagram and Threads logins renew themselves while connected.
• Your posts: titles, text, notes, first comments and schedule; after a post goes out, its link, its stats (views, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves) and its latest comments (username and text).
• Your media: photos, videos and PDFs you upload, and the images Postie crops or makes for your posts.

Logins and posts are kept in a Cloudflare D1 database and media in Cloudflare R2 storage.

How it's used

• Only to run Postie for you: publish the posts you mark ready at the time you picked, then show their stats and comments.
• Instagram: Postie reads your username and profile picture, publishes your photos, carousels and reels with their caption and first comment, reads each published post's stats and comments, and hides or deletes a comment only when you click Hide or Delete. Media reaches Instagram through private links that expire.
• Threads: Postie publishes your posts (long ones as a chain of replies) and reads each published post's stats and replies.
• Claude connector: if you connect Postie to Claude in claude.ai, Claude can list your posts, read one with your AI rules, and replace a post's text. It can't publish, delete or schedule. The sign-in is kept in Cloudflare KV, with its tokens stored only as hashes.
• AI: only when you click Draft, Polish or Summarize, the post's text (for Summarize also its stats, comments and any viewer details you pasted) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to write the result.
• Email: alerts (a post went out or failed, a post isn't ready, a login needs renewing) show in Postie, and by email for people the admin has set up for email.
• Postie doesn't sell your data or share it beyond the services named here, show ads, or use tracking or analytics. Its pages load the Inter font from Google Fonts.

Who can see it

You, while logged in. The Postie admin sees each person's name, email, role, number of accounts and AI use, to manage invites. Whoever runs Postie can reach the database to keep it working.

Keeping and deleting

Postie keeps your data until you delete it. Delete your data explains how, including how to have everything removed.
