Delete your data

What Postie keeps is listed in the privacy policy. You can delete it yourself, or ask for all of it to be removed.

In Postie, right away

• Disconnect an account (its ⋯ menu in the sidebar → Disconnect): deletes its stored login token.
• Delete a post: deletes the post, its stats and comments, and its own media files.
• Delete account (its ⋯ menu): deletes all its posts, its schedule and its login token. Media in your library stays.

Everything

Email mayhu733@gmail.com from your Postie email with the subject “Delete my Postie data”. Your Postie login is removed with everything in it: your details, sessions, posts, connected logins, alerts and every file in your media library. You get an email reply once it's done, within 30 days.

Removing Postie in Instagram

In Instagram, go to Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites and remove Postie. That ends Postie's access at Instagram straight away. Postie isn't told, so its copy of the now unusable token stays until you Disconnect or ask for deletion as above. Threads works the same way, from its own website permissions settings.

If you connected Postie to Claude, remove it in claude.ai under Settings → Connectors. Removing your Postie login also stops that connector working.
